Project

“Count every child” brand identity

Plan International is a development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. They briefed us to review the branding around one of their key campaigns – “Universal Birth Registration”.

To give the campaign a stronger public face we began by reviewing the name. We settled on Count Every Child which not only translated well into the three target languages of English, French and Spanish but also neatly described the purpose and thinking behind the campaign.

For increased visual impact we incorporated the new name into a graphic which mimicked an official red stamp. The combination of these two elements delivered a message which communicated both the importance and urgency of registering a child’s birth.

We then implemented the new campaign identity across all collateral including a high-profile photographic exhibition which showcased at the United Nations HQ in New York and Geneva.
