Annual Report

Article 19 was founded in 1987 and is a human rights organisation defending freedom of expression and freedom of information worldwide.

We were asked to design a new digital annual report which would visually communicate some very complex issues around freedom of speech and human rights. In response, we developed a series of icons and infographics to simplify the content – making it more accessible and easier to understand. In addition, we took angular elements of the existing brand identity to bring a sense of urgency and a strong dynamic feel to the piece.
