Strategic Review 2015-2019
The International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS) was founded in 1935 and they have been promoting skin health around the world for over 80 years. ILDS has over 180 Member Societies from more than 80 countries and represent over 200,000 dermatologists. They work closely with partners including the World Health Organization to improve skin health around the world.
We were approached to design their four-year Strategic Review (2015-2019). The content for this review was extensive, but the copy did not flow coherently. So, the first stage was to engage a copywriter to structure the copy, and to provide some editorial guidance to ILDS who were writing the copy themselves. We collaborated very closely with ILDS in every stage of the design work. Together, we ensured key elements such as the ILDS’s three key objectives were prominently displayed by having different coloured spreads. We recommended that each objective spread contains highlights and icons so readers know what is to come in the following pages of each section. We also introduced a four-year timeline to clearly define their impact.
The result of this collaborative effort was a well-designed report that showcased all of the work ILDS have done in the last four years.
