Brooke is an international animal welfare charity, working to improve the lives of working horses, donkeys and mules in the poorest countries of the world.
Brooke wanted this annual review to clearly connect what was happening to working donkeys and horses in poor countries with what they are doing to directly alleviate these problems.
We introduced “Fact’ boxes, which gave sometimes quite shocking information in a short, bold copy format and mirrored these with “Aim” boxes, which stated what Brooke was doing to create change. In addition, we helped Brooke highlight their year’s achievements with infographics which combined appealing photography with significant statistics. Lastly, we recommended an uncoated paper stock to give the whole document a more radical, campaigning feel.
