Christmas, kindness and creativity

As we run up to the holiday season it’s hard to believe that less than twelve months ago we were still living with Covid restrictions. It’s wonderful to be able to meet in person once again, although I must admit that hybrid working continues to deliver some benefits; this year I was even able to spend time with my mum in Malaysia while continuing to work!

I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all our valued clients who have worked alongside us during this year of transition back to normality. I’m pleased to welcome many new clients to nim design, including Big Society CapitalCommonwealth Foundation and Forces in Mind Trust to name a few. Like many of our existing loyal clients, these organisations aim to make the world a better place and are run by people who care.

At nim design, we put kindness at the heart of everything we do. Positive purpose is a priority and with the challenges we are facing as individuals – and as a planet – I believe a compassionate approach is more important than ever. These are things we aim to practice across our business: in the tone and content of our work, in our interactions with clients and partners, and in the way we treat one another. We also try to give back in practical ways and are delighted to support Circus Starr, a social enterprise which entertains children with additional needs and families in difficult circumstances.

2022 has certainly been busy and now we look forward to a break. We will be closing our doors on 16 December, ready to open again, full of energy and creative ideas, on 3 January 2023. In the meantime, I wish you all a wonderful festive season filled with joy and all the things we’ve missed over the last couple of years. See you again in 2023!
