Caring For You Booklet

RMBI has cared for older Freemasons and their dependants for over 170 years.

They approached us to create an informative wellbeing booklet for staff. To keep the look and feel upbeat and the information easy-to-digest, we settled on an illustrative approach which delivered an energetic vibe.

We created vivid pictorial images which communicated key messages about adopting a healthy lifestyle and how the charity, as an employer, could help individuals achieve their lifestyle objectives. Once the project was complete, these illustrations were handed over to the client so that they could be used again. In addition to the illustrations, we created colourful infographics in a similar style to make vital facts and figures more engaging.

We believe that by encouraging the client to take an illustrative route we delivered an eye-catching piece of work which offered great value and a good return on investment.

Our charity has been working with nim design for a number of years and I cannot speak highly enough of the team. They have a sound understanding of our brand and the way we like to do things. In most recent times, the team has worked with us to develop our brand’s look and feel, helping to bring to life our marketing literature through illustrations and infographics which has been really refreshing. I always look forward to working with nim design and in a fast-paced environment, their professionalism, product quality as well as friendliness and willingness to support us to deliver projects on time, makes them our designer of choice.

Case study

The Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution (RMBI) approached us to create an informative wellbeing booklet for staff. It presented a number of challenges:

  • It was imperative that the booklet was informative but not perceived as a prescriptive list of how to live.
  • To ensure staff engagement, the design would need to work very hard to bring visual appeal to the fact-driven content.
  • To keep the look and feel upbeat and the information easy-to-digest, we recommended an illustrative approach which delivered an energetic vibe.
  • We created vivid pictorial illustrations in-house which communicated key messages about adopting a healthy lifestyle and how the charity, as an employer, could help individuals achieve their objectives.
  • Colourful infographics communicated facts and figures in a fun, easy-to-digest way.
  • This eye-catching booklet was well received by staff members who have recognised it’s worth.
  • The client has been able to use the illustrations and infographics again on different platforms including posters, internal communications and social media.
  • By encouraging the client to take an illustrative route we offered great value and a good return on investment.
  • The extended shelf life means it has also become part of the new staff welcome pack.
