Parker and Farr has been handcrafting luxury sofas since 1950. They sell worldwide and collaborate with interior designers to create unique, high-quality furniture.
We undertook a full rebranding for Parker & Farr to develop a brand which better reflected their values and positioning in a modern market place. Before undertaking any design work we analysed their competition, considered trends in the market place and identified their strengths and weaknesses. Our findings informed our design approach.
The new brand identity echoes the company’s heritage through its classic but distinctive font, the introduction of a distinguishing ampersand and the deep blue and grey colour combination. In addition we introduced a new strapline – ‘English • Elegant • Exclusive’ which describes their origin, values and positioning.
As well as being implemented across all corporate and publicity materials, the new brand has been used to transform the company’s stylish London showroom and refreshed their website. Staff have been enthused by the new look which has given this authentic firm a clear position in the competitive handcrafted furniture market.
