The Salvation Army is a worldwide charity which demonstrates its Christian principles through practical help to people of all ages, backgrounds and needs.
We were delighted to be asked to work with this high-profile charity on its most recent Annual Review which has as its theme ‘Changing the world we live in today’. To support this concept, and to highlight the softer side of the organisation, we proposed a fluid style which took inspiration from the curves of the iconic Salvation Army Shield.
This distinctive curved shape is used throughout the publication for icons and infographics as well as copy, captions and imagery. By using a combination of colour blocking, tints and translucent overlays we have created a warm quality and an elegant sense of flow. The semi-transparent picture captions marry up the copy and photos neatly and make good use of space.
We are very proud to be working with The Salvation Army and are delighted that the leadership team and stakeholders are impressed with the new look and style of their report.
