Annual Report 2018-2019
Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust is the UK’s leading cervical cancer charity.
The Trust came to us to breathe new life into its first Annual Report with Financial Statements. As a draft, the publication was text heavy, packed with accounts and ran to over 50 pages. So before we began our creative process, we set about structuring the copy: we divided it into sections, looked for opportunities to cut words by introducing icons and infographics and began signposting the readers through the content with headers, sub-heads and quotes.
Happily, this charity has a large collection of lively photographs which we were able to use to break up the text. In addition, we designed bold graphics to explain some of the facts and figures and employed elegant fonts, original icons and made good use of the vibrant corporate colour palette to produce a clear, accessible and engaging report.
We are proud of the completed publication, which reflects the dynamic nature of the organisation and meets the needs of its varied stakeholders.
The team at nim really listened to what we wanted and responded quickly to our feedback, working within our tight deadlines.
It meant the whole design process was simple, stress free and we’re really pleased with the finished product.
