Annual Report and Financial Statements 2020-21

After a challenging year for the NHS, we were honoured to produce the 2020-21 Annual Report for St George’s Hospital Charity. Our client wanted a design which would reflect the positive and purposeful way in which the charity had fundraised and donated funds for staff and patients throughout the pandemic.

This is a large 76-page document so our first tasks were to write the stories into a strong narrative, structure the content into clear sections and develop a vibrant design to make reading this document fun.

We highlighted the contribution the charity had made during the pandemic, using lots of photographs of people, a magazine-feel design and a pared-down colour palette. Quotes, graphics, and key stats were pulled out of the main body of the text for readers who only had time to scan the pages, and we created an ‘Our Impact’ section to highlight where and how the charity had made the most difference.
