Employee Handbook
RMBI has cared for older Freemasons and their dependants for over 160 years.
RMBI Care provides support to around 1000 people living in 18 care homes in England and Wales.
Our brief was to design an attractive Employee Handbook to provide new staff with everything they needed to know about the organisation. It necessitated a sizeable amount of content so our first step was to find ways to break the copy into more appealing bite-sized chunks.
Infographics were an ideal way to replace some words and communicate key facts and figures, such as the age and gender of the residents. In addition, we created new circular graphics to describe the organisation, a pictorial map to show the key locations and an address book visual to communicate contact details.
Continuing an illustrative theme, we created some quirky new artwork which we juxtaposed against more traditional photography.
By applying this array of creative tools, we have delivered a pleasing booklet with a playful tone which conveys the required content as well as the warm, friendly nature of this charitable organisation.
Our charity has been working with nim design for a number of years and I cannot speak highly enough of the team. They have a sound understanding of our brand and the way we like to do things. In most recent times, the team has worked with us to develop our brand’s look and feel, helping to bring to life our marketing literature through illustrations and infographics which has been really refreshing. I always look forward to working with nim design and in a fast-paced environment, their professionalism, product quality as well as friendliness and willingness to support us to deliver projects on time, makes them our designer of choice.
